Q: What are the valid dates for the promotion?
A: The promotion period is 25/10/2007 to 31/12/2007. To qualify for the cashback, the product must be purchased during this period and the claim form sent off on or before 15/02/2008.
Q: How do I apply for my cash back?
A: 1. Purchase any of the selected products within the EOS 20th Anniversary Cash Back Promotion between 25.10.2007 and 31.12.2007.2. Make a photocopy of your receipt or cash register receipt2a) Make a photocopy of your local warranty card.3. Cut out the original barcode that you will find on the product boxes. For further information on where to find your bar codes, please click here.4. Fill in the application form, you can find it by pressing "Next" on the other page.5. Print the form off and then send it together with the copy of the receipt, the copy of the warranty card and the original barcode to Promoter:Canon Promotion Centre#084388PO BOX 34TipperaryIreland. 6. Q: Which countries should I purchase the product in to be valid for this promotion?
A: The promotion runs in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey. To be able to claim the cashback, the products must be purchased in one of these countries and you have to be a consumer of an EEA country (i.e. the EU, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein) Croatia, Switzerland or Turkey. The promotion is not open to employees of Canon or members of their family, or to any Canon agents or dealers.
Q: What barcodes do I need to supply to Canon?
A: 1. If you have purchased a photo kit – Please supply the barcode from the Outer box and the barcode from the lens and/or accessory box.2. If you have purchased a Lens Kit – Please supply the barcode from both lens product boxes.
Q: How many times can I apply for the Cash Back?
A: Cashback is available once on each of the products listed. You can receive up to €1500 cash back. The promotion is not valid to employees of Canon or members of their family, or to any Canon agents or dealers of photographic or video equipment.
Q: What is my IBAN and where do I get it?
A: Your IBAN is your International Bank Account Number. Your IBAN along with your Swift code allows us to quickly identify your bank account to quickly transfer the cash back to your account.
Q: If I do not receive my cash back within 30 days, whom do I contact?
A: If you do not receive your cash back within 30 days, please send an email message to your local Canon representationYou will receive a response with 48 hours.
