Terms and Conditions

1. Subject to these terms and conditions, Canon will send you a cashback. Following receipt of:

(a) The claim form correctly filled out, available at the following internet address www.canon-europe.com/2007promotions. and
(b) A photocopy of the proof-of-purchase or copy of the cash register receipt; and
(c) A photocopy of the warranty card of the product; and
(d) The original barcode from the product box.

2. The promotion runs in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey. To be able to claim the cashback, the products must be purchased in one of these countries and you must be a consumer of an EEA country (i.e. the EU, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein) or Switzerland or Turkey or Croatia. The promotion is not open to employees of Canon or members of their family, or to any Canon agents or dealers.

4. The cashback is only valid where this product has been originally sold by Canon in the EEA, Switzerland, Turkey or Croatia. Canon will not redeem this cashback against any other product, except where a successor model originally sold by Canon in the EEA, Switzerland or Turkey or Croatia has replaced the products.

5. The promotion period is 25/10/2007 to 31/12/2007. To qualify for the cashback, the product must be purchased during this period and the claim form sent off on or before 15/02/2008.

6. Provided that all terms and conditions are met, Canon will wire the money directly into your bank account, should you have chosen that option in the claim form. Please ask your bank for further information regarding international bank transfer. If you fill in the correct IBAN number, bank name and bank city, no additional bank details should be necessary. You will be directed what bank details are required in you country automatically when filling in the claim form. Canon will send you the cashback by cheque, should you have chosen that option.

Please note that local bank charges may be charged and are your responsibility.

7. An email will be sent to you upon receipt of the postal claim form. You will be provided with an ID code, which you can use to check the status of your claim (available at the following internet address: www.submissionstatus.com). If the claim meets all the conditions, the process of payment takes approximately 21 working days after receipt of the postal claim form.

8. Canon does not accept any responsibility for misdirected, delayed or lost mail, incomplete or illegible claim forms or damaged mail. Claim by fax, telephone or e-mail will not be accepted.

9. Canon is committed to protecting your privacy and any personal information supplied by you will be used by Canon solely for the purpose of administrating the cashback. Your personal data is held on secure computer and manual files and shall not be processed for any other purposes. You have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your data.
